Deer Suite - Krita Brush Pack
A bundle of line art and sketching brushes for Krita that I have been making over the past few months!
I couldn't quite find the kinds of brushes I had in mind by randomly searching online, so I hunkered down and started toying with Krita's brush engine a bit to get what I want. I've been very satisfied with the results and wanted to share what I've made.
Bundle contains:
Deer Ink:
- 1A - A thicker inking brush with a somewhat fuzzy fade out to its pressure curve. It's good for chunkier/toonier line art
- 2 - A medium sized inking brush that gets very thin with low pressure, helping for fine details. It's more opaque than 1A at minimum pressure.
- 2A - A modification of 2 that has sharper edges. It's my go-to for inking a lot of pictures
Deer Layout: A sketching brush that is a little transparent at max pressure. It's somewhat fuzzy and gets skinny a low pressure, very good for laying out rough sketches
Deer Sketch: A versatile brush that can be used for sketchy line art or sketch itself. It has an oblong pressure curve that kind of makes it function like a marker in some cases. Very cool.
Deer Pencil: A grainy pencil brush that has a very slight, linear pressure curve. The brush scatters at lower levels of pressure.
Deer WILD Pencil: A modification of the pencil that is thicker and has a radical pressure curve that's also affected by speed. The grain texture also increases in sharpness with higher levels of pressure. (And yes, WILD in all caps is necessary!)
I hope you enjoy these brushes! I figured I'd share what I made in case it helps anyone else out.
